That reaches to the place where the human soul 

Intertwines with the ages and all becomes one.

Anima, Hokhmah, and Hera hold hands 

As they dance in slow rhythmic circles to pipes and drums

That are keeping time with the music of spheres

Resonating from a parallel universe.

Mysterium tremendum et fascinans – 

Deity shrouded in deep darkness

The wrestling angel struggles to leave

Shulamite’s lover impatiently withdraws

Prophet’s mantle and Deliverer’s veil

Cherubim cover their faces with their wings

Little girls watch the eclipse through smoked glass

Shadow lands, thick fog, shimmering haze

+

Cravings of the heart are never satisfied with husks

No sounds in space, dark matter remains unseen

Lilting music of the spheres hidden, and yet,

The veil grows steadily thinner and more translucent

As the light becomes stronger.
