    Larry,

I saw that you replied (tweeted) to a posting that our Lisa and my firstborn (Evan) posted. I had to try and contact you. This is the only way that I found…so I hope you get this.

It’s been too long Larry. Seriously. Love you brother. Would love to connect sometime.

Much love. God bless you and yours.

    Your brother in Christ,

  3. Hi Larry,
I heard you teach a Calvary Chapel Modesto in the late 90’s. I have your paper, “Things I wish I knew Before I became a Pastor” somewhere on my computer. I want to bless my pastor and several young aspiring church planters where I fellowship. However, I can’t seem to locate it. Would you send it to me via email? Thanks!

Hi, Larry. This is Joy McClanahan from the Let’s Talk About God group from meetup. I just wanted to let you know that I’m reading “Sinners in the Hands of a Loving God” that was mentioned in your group. It is wonderful. It has changed my whole view of God. I so enjoyed the group and I miss all of you. Joy

  5. Hi Dr. Larry Taylor!!!
I went to CCBC in Big Bear…I sat in the front row and always had mismatched earrings. Don’t know if you remember me, but I lost my brown sweater and asked Derek for prayer about it before chapel for almost two months…I’m an old gal now, but I’m thrilled I found you, because what I really would love is if Kathy has any notes left from her Women Counseling Women class she taught. I have three daughters and we’re excited to lead a young women’s Bible study this year; I didn’t take Kathy’s class and I was always very sorry that I didn’t, because the next year was the fiasco when we moved down to Murrieta, and it wasn’t offered again of course. If there’s any chance that it’s available somewhere, please let me know! Thank you very much,
    Sarah (Freeman) King

    Hello Larry,

Years ago, I heard a message you did on Good Friday about Jesus’ sufferings. I had it on cassette and listened to it every year on Good Friday. Is there a way to get a copy of it? I’ve moved several times and have not been able to locate it. I was going to transfer to CD but never managed to get around to it. so glad to have found you. Lord Bless You!

    Dear Dr Larry Taylor,
to my knowledge you wrote “what Calvary teaches”. Do you remember when you wrote it? Is it still used and valid today?
    Blessings Matthias (Gille.ccdach@gmail.com)

    P. S. I am a high school teacher from Germany, researching part-time on the history and theology of Calvary Chapel.

    • I wrote the original “Things I Learned from my Pastor,” in the early 1990s when i was director of Calvary Chapel Bible College. That morphed into what Calvary teaches and has, as i understand it, undergone numerous revisions. I am not connected with Calvary Chapel any longer, so I don’t know what is being currently used, especially since CC has split into various factions. I am friends with people in the know, however. If you have specific questions, i can ask for you. Blessings, Larry

  8. Larry, I like some of the things you teach but like other on-line teaching ministries and, like the local Calvary Chapel, I find no apparent organization of your teachings by book of the Bible and most links under “Categories” take me to the same page of current ministry, as of today’s Mar. 26 message. On the other hand, on YouTube, the passage is identified such as your YouTube sermon “The Day Everything Changed. A video teaching on Mark 15:1-37. “Am I missing something?

    • Thanks so much – great question.

      I have three websites:

      1. https://drlarrytaylor.com
      2. My YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@drlarrytaylor
      3. https://www.theunstuckspirit.com

The first one is a blog where I post essays on whatever is currently on my mind, and audio recordings of a Bible study I do on Sunday evenings. The Bible studies are all verse-by-verse studies in various books of the Bible. We’ve done most of the New Testament and we’re currently in Isaiah.

The videos of the same studies are posted on my YouTube channel (#2 above). Those include my Power Point presentations.

The third website above is my ministry as a spiritual director and life coach. There are blogs there related to spiritual direction and life coaching.

Does that clarify things a bit?
      Blessings, Larry

  9. Hi Larry,
How do we know when if a pdf has been revised.
Things I learned from my pastor is what I am reading.
It just appears things may have been revised and not the original.

  10. We are looking for a copy of Dr Larry Taylors book called What Calvary Chapel Teaches. Could you point me as to where I can find it?

The one I wrote is out of print. CCCM had a heavily redacted version but I don’t know if they still do.
